The building of the officer hooches had just started.\u00a0 So if you were not flying that day, you became a day laborer, or if you were lucky and had prior skils, you could be a carpenter, electrician, or concrete worker. When the hooches were done, we started moving in, without walls or ceiling, but at least it wasn&#8217;t a tent.
