Karnehn, John Kintaro and Kudlacek all were killed in crash night of 09/27/1971..
I am Robert Timothy Keyser, then a Captain piloting a UH1 on 09/28/1971 when we took ground fire from NVA regulars. We were flying into Thien Ngon 5th SF Camp A323 to Medevac wounded when I was wounded. I was Medevaced to Keesler AB Biloxi MS. Received PH and VN Cross of Gallantry w/ SS. Served 1973 to 1975 as PIO – flew Hueys w/ 5th Corps in Frankfurt FRG. Later CO of 4th PsyOps Co in Sacramento.
